Fascia Signage:: VIEW OUR FASCIA GALLERY HERE :: Individual Channelume Letters – Channelume refers to the product used to form the edge or Return of the letter. Channelume letters are face lit, typically illuminated with LEDs and will have a Lexan lens with PVC Vinyl graphics applied first surface Channellume shapes can have a 5” or 3” return.
Channelume Shapes - Channelume shape specifications and construction of are consistent with standard Channelume letters. Channelume shapes are used to either create a logo or design element and can also be used to form a shape contouring the form around a word or copy.
Halo Letters or Shapes – Halo refers to the way in which the letter or shape is illuminated where as the light reflects back on the building creating a “Halo” effect around the edge of the letter or shape. A halo illuminated letters or shape can be built with sheet metal, brushed/polished Aluminum or a variety of metals. The letter is built as a reverse channel letter with a 3.5” return. The LEDs are installed on the inside of the letter to shine back on to the wall. The letters are installed on posts to offset the letter 1.5” from the wall to allow the light to disperse properly.
Fascia Cabinet/Sign Box/Box Sign - A fascia cabinet consists of a sheet metal cabinet with an extruded aluminum frame which holds a Lexan lens with PVC Vinyl graphics applied first or second surface. Typically fascia cabinets are illuminated by T-12 DHO lamps and ballasts but can also be illuminated by LEDs upon request or where a low profile cabinet is required. Fascia cabinets are 8” - 10” in depth and are always square or rectangular.
Contoured or Shaped Fascia Cabinet/Sign Box/Box Sign - Specifications and construction of contoured or shaped fascia cabinets are consistent with a standard fascia cabinet with the exception of the retainer. A contoured cabinet will be used to create a logo or design element and can also be used to form a shape contouring the form around a word or copy when the shape is too large for Channellume or a deeper return is required. The retainer, face material and illumination is determined by the size and shape of the cabinet.
Push-Thru – Push Thru refers to the way in which the sign face is manufactured. A push thru face will provide a dimensional element to the sign face as well as providing an individually illuminated letter with a slight edge lit effect at night. The Push-Thru face can be incorporated into a fascia cabinet or contoured fascia cabinet. To create the Push-Thru face, an aluminum face is cut to fit the cabinet then the reverse of the copy or graphic is cut out of the aluminum sheet. The Push-Thru portion of the sign comes from the ¾” or 1” acrylic letter which is routed to fit through the aluminum face and sit proud of the face. PVC vinyl can be applied to the acrylic letters or shapes to create a variety of design and effects.
